Cross Country

Well done to the children from Primary 6 and 7 who represented our school at the South Lanarkshire Cross Country event at Strathaven Park.

Their hard work and determination certainly paid off with a super effort from all thirty six children. This is a tough event to take part in and the children certainly rose to the occasion.

They overcame the disappointment of the event being cancelled earlier this year but powered through. They put that set back behind them and continued to train very hard with Mr Wyatt encouraging them every step of the way – through snow, rain, hail and finally sun.

Their team spirit and attitude was super as they encouraged everyone around the course. What a brilliant effort and so many medal winners too. Well done everyone!
